Volunteering is a great way to have fun, learn new skills and share your talents. Simply complete the Association’s Membership Form (Volunteer Section) and you’re on your way to meeting new people and helping others. Importantly your time, enthusiasm and skills will help us to better deliver our programs and services to more people with a disability by minimising costs.

As a volunteer you’ll be contributing to a range of exciting and meaningful events and activities which support our purpose of making active goals accessible. No experience is required for most volunteer roles. We provide training as required to ensure you have a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

How can I get Involved?

  • Sports programs and events – coaching, sports training, one-off events, team staff, umpire/referee, sports subcommittees or assisting with regular sports programs subcommittees or assisting with regular sports programs
  • Drivers – transport people and equipment for sport and recreation activities
  • Health and fitness – assist people with their workouts and personal fitness goals
  • Public relations – marketing/media skills, photography
