Leave a Gift in your Will

Leave a Gift in your Will

A wonderful way to support the work of Sporting Wheelies is to leave a gift in your Will. We have been supporting Queenslanders with a disability for over 40 years. In order to continue this work, we need your help. The future of Sporting Wheelies is dependent on donations and gifts from our supporters.

Your generosity will allow us to continue to provide vital services for the next generation of Queenslanders with a disability. Leaving a gift in your Will is an easy and secure way to ensure that Sporting Wheelies can be there for Queenslanders for years to come.

A gift today that will help for years to come.

Sporting Wheelies is excited to announce that we’re teaming up with Safewill, one of Australia’s most trusted Will-writing platforms.   We are able to extend a special opportunity to our incredible community to easily draft a simple, legally valid Will from the comfort of your own homes, at an exclusive discounted rate of $80 (that is 50% off the normal rate).

You do not have to be wealthy to leave a legacy. There are four ways to leave a gift in your Will to Sporting Wheelies:

Pecuniary Gift – a gift of a fixed amount of money;

Specific Gift – an asset (something other than money), which may include property, shares or artwork;

Percentage Gift – a specified percentage of your total estate; or

Residual Gift – the remainder of your estate after all debts, charges and gifts have been distributed. A residual gift in your Will maintains its relative value and automatically adjusts with the value of your estate.

Your gift will help fund all aspects of the delivery of our programs that support Queenslanders with life changing injuries and disabilities.

As a Will is a legal document, we do recommend that you consult a solicitor to help you draft it, so that you can be sure your wishes will be carried out as you intend.
