Come and try days

Want to have a go at a sport without having to sign up for a season or buy equipment? Then our Come and Try Days are just what you’re looking for.

Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association coordinates Come and Try Days throughout the year for many different sports, including Paralympic sports, so you can try out equipment, talk to coaches and athletes, and see if it’s something you’d like to pursue for fun or competition.

Come and Try Days are often run in partnership with other sports organisations and clubs that offer inclusive services.

For more information check our calendar for upcoming events, or contact your local Association office.

Fitness and rehabilitation

The Association also operates a fully accessible, inclusive fitness and rehabilitation facility, The Gym, at our Bowen Hills headquarters in Brisbane. Visit our fitness and rehabilitation page for more information about the services we offer to members.
