At Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association, we believe everyone should have opportunities to participate in active recreation and play sport, no matter their goals and ambitions. We understand that not everyone wishes to compete and represent, but wants to get involved in active recreation because of the health, social and personal benefits.

Through active recreation people can have fun, meet new friends, develop new skills and get fit, all within a supportive environment. It can also play an important role in linking people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities with their community.

The Association manages five core sports, Boccia, Goalball, Para-Powerlifting, Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Rugby, all which can be played by those wanting to participate for fun. We also provide many other active recreation opportunities around Queensland.

Some of these include clay target shooting, water-skiing, sailing, roller-skating/roller hockey (wheelchairs welcome), blokarting, tennis, fishing and boating, outrigging, canoeing, rowing, 4 wheel driving and wheelchair dancing.
